Holiday Greetings
|
As we move through the season of Advent and rapidly approach the joyful celebration of Christmas, we remember the people of Haiti, who have spent a year moving from one tragedy to the next. But, Christmas is a time of new life and healing.
We hold Haiti close in our hearts as we look to a new year of hope and renewal and growth for our brothers and sisters there.
A peaceful and blessed holiday season to everyone, and a thank you for all you have done during this past year.

An update from Jeannette
Like schools everywhere, St. Marc’s is getting ready for the Christmas Break. The school will close Wednesday, December 22nd. Schools in Miragoane and Leogane will close on December 24th to make up for days off related to the elections.
So far, no case of cholera has been reported around Jeannette. At St. Marc's, children have been taught prevention and a chlorinated bucket system has been set up so that they wash their hands before lunch.
Rudolphe Eloi sends his and everyone at St. Marc’s best wishes to all their friends at the Haiti Project.
Holiday Greetings from Father Kesner Ajax, Partnership Program Coordinator, Episcopal Diocese of Haiti
On behalf of the Diocese of Haiti, and the Partnership Program, I wish a Happy New Year to all of you - our very special friends and partners! Let this be a fruitful New Year of peace, love, prosperity, and collaboration! Love and Thanks during this Holy Holiday season!
-Pere Kesner Ajax
